I have found the most excellent quilting teacher, she is humorous, up beat, and relaxed. Angela Walters from the Midnight Quilting Show makes quilting look so easy. This is my first try at anything like this i mostly do applique quilting. I was very pleased with her instructions check her out she's on youtube.<br />

This is the easiest bread I've ever made. It's made like they use to make them in the 18th century. The crust is crispy, the crumb is tender with many air pockets. my family enjoys this one.<br />
<br />
Supplies:<br />
large heavy cast metal pot with lid<br />
spatula<br />
large bowl<br />
whisk<br />
fork<br />
plastic wrap<br />
corn meal for sprinkling on the bottom<br />
<br />
Ingredients:<br />
3 cups of flour<br />
1/4 teaspoon yeast<br />
1 teaspoon salt<br />
1 1/2 cups water<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYrzLwU8jymP_t3u9c1UMnPGXw4z_sGvAmRF-GQd14bHLQc9S3BYgI_IAgb1EJ09bgfHrug5UH6jFJgHQNrMbuBgUnF8Z6Ld8qJb4kclBCZdR15YRT5vRsBm_iCDgjOjOipVMn9Q5gxzs/s1600/gluten+free+cookies+097.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYrzLwU8jymP_t3u9c1UMnPGXw4z_sGvAmRF-GQd14bHLQc9S3BYgI_IAgb1EJ09bgfHrug5UH6jFJgHQNrMbuBgUnF8Z6Ld8qJb4kclBCZdR15YRT5vRsBm_iCDgjOjOipVMn9Q5gxzs/s320/gluten+free+cookies+097.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
Place all dry ingredients in large bowl, mix well with whisk .<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5i3Wc6czbWiPNfCr0MTCENl-uiBvQtN8sEqL9bMluKKpWyxOCYcaZbOYvduK_Z1fHlWcq3C-lArahMGv32zg0rRW6k5zgMXjOro0pZaq3zmLhIoWKLifXu_oQJeFK4-dhFOObQDknSu4/s1600/gluten+free+cookies+098.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5i3Wc6czbWiPNfCr0MTCENl-uiBvQtN8sEqL9bMluKKpWyxOCYcaZbOYvduK_Z1fHlWcq3C-lArahMGv32zg0rRW6k5zgMXjOro0pZaq3zmLhIoWKLifXu_oQJeFK4-dhFOObQDknSu4/s320/gluten+free+cookies+098.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
Add water mix well with a fork. Dough will look like this, it will be sticky. Set aside to rise till next day on the counter covered in plastic wrap.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhm6q4xZxNPQ8B0NXIZwXC3qyvmLkcZUR992zNR8up0OAIBFSrb8KVau0U-gzvQBzMlOdIVBEWJjIdCZ1TNYVGMjplP8JSJ8i7yrq_BZ9CabiB3jBMvC2L-bI9e0nXBJI9VEcHjLAOQl9Q/s1600/gluten+free+cookies+108.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhm6q4xZxNPQ8B0NXIZwXC3qyvmLkcZUR992zNR8up0OAIBFSrb8KVau0U-gzvQBzMlOdIVBEWJjIdCZ1TNYVGMjplP8JSJ8i7yrq_BZ9CabiB3jBMvC2L-bI9e0nXBJI9VEcHjLAOQl9Q/s320/gluten+free+cookies+108.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>

Here are some of the steps of making this Tuscan Quilt. I received a sewing machine last year I have been practicing my free form quilting skills.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
First I start out with a sketch of an idea, draw it out the actual size. This will serve as my pattern.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8Rgcx7d0LxGSkO46rJqIU3kLqpX8XP_i1CSQFS-Y4cyeOuDNiAzqkF7QekMqHBYNegMt2eYpbZwTlLqxgSjnsJueOiVrgmWiMwlD-T6vFhJoSsDwpQTQr8xBXUly8wY9GHuvPXf4rXzQ/s1600/tuscan+quilt+001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8Rgcx7d0LxGSkO46rJqIU3kLqpX8XP_i1CSQFS-Y4cyeOuDNiAzqkF7QekMqHBYNegMt2eYpbZwTlLqxgSjnsJueOiVrgmWiMwlD-T6vFhJoSsDwpQTQr8xBXUly8wY9GHuvPXf4rXzQ/s320/tuscan+quilt+001.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had in mind to use reds, oranges, golds in materials.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOors49SKXQl_9oOjtjKTYsusaKeJJAATaNofn6vcqv6_UzGXn9p_k3HsNfgDwaewT-RRzYLKe_7HCwlL3lT2m1FCm1UOwtWL-pNUAxoa4JJ0JeJ6c3WGEk4TSVt5TDyaR5U5nkJHAFyg/s1600/125.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOors49SKXQl_9oOjtjKTYsusaKeJJAATaNofn6vcqv6_UzGXn9p_k3HsNfgDwaewT-RRzYLKe_7HCwlL3lT2m1FCm1UOwtWL-pNUAxoa4JJ0JeJ6c3WGEk4TSVt5TDyaR5U5nkJHAFyg/s320/125.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Cutting out sunflower centers, basting into place.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2IqmwXpeMmMfuoMZO7xwIOneZMv2Jf8anNI0wDT7jeB8bH5XIL1dt1hiLNNIV9Et6gxOxv71r_BtJD9WpXSNdinZp2SeVfy6XFv38sc8vFBfqW5TlKY5A3td4vh1fDtOZo9ye1MVBtYc/s1600/126.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2IqmwXpeMmMfuoMZO7xwIOneZMv2Jf8anNI0wDT7jeB8bH5XIL1dt1hiLNNIV9Et6gxOxv71r_BtJD9WpXSNdinZp2SeVfy6XFv38sc8vFBfqW5TlKY5A3td4vh1fDtOZo9ye1MVBtYc/s320/126.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sewing ever petal, ironing preparing to place on quilt. I use to hand turn every piece, but now I sew same material together, turn inside out, cut open and iron for better results.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I made this delightful baby quilt with my new sewing machine. It has attachments for embroidery, and quilting. I have done hand quilting in the past this blanket would have taken me 4 weeks to complete normally, I finished it in a day.<br />

In the process it took me a while to learn how to move the material, my arms were real sore that night. I got advise from the lady's from my quilting group to only work for 15 minutes at a time, taking small breaks.<br />

This is the easiest pie crust I have found.<br />
<br />
Ingredients:<br />
2 cups flour<br />
1/2 cup oil minus a tablespoon<br />
1 teaspoon sugar<br />
3/4 teaspoon salt<br />
5 tablespoon icy cold water.<br />
Wax paper<br />
Rolling pin<br />
<br />
Place 2 cups of flour, salt and sugar in bowl. Mix well.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzHphAdQP2WEWc9EeWzAhC28WtFmNuVrnWDuAL9N38TujvUeNgnq_BVIVh4qX-2veZj_xT5cZRSNQMMAcygxVqxqPEVoc1rk-V5uqrZFhW-vocHtTQsIFaHDLRbbgO3-qV01o-P26v_1o/s1600/gingerbread+027.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzHphAdQP2WEWc9EeWzAhC28WtFmNuVrnWDuAL9N38TujvUeNgnq_BVIVh4qX-2veZj_xT5cZRSNQMMAcygxVqxqPEVoc1rk-V5uqrZFhW-vocHtTQsIFaHDLRbbgO3-qV01o-P26v_1o/s1600/gingerbread+027.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Measure 1/2 cup of oil minus 1 tablespoon.<br />
Add water in a small bowl, with some ice cubes to get it icy cold.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9fIehexyiCW4PmKt4m0Zjmij3f9ck0Ou__XKUNvGVOvO8muJ7APiLwalDwZGdQ5RvHJyackehj8UxyuDHThsg4juMSja5i6gaIhKqniZF2ZrUBPlM5YvpnD6aLDsCqLrXxuznScSQdaY/s1600/gingerbread+037.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9fIehexyiCW4PmKt4m0Zjmij3f9ck0Ou__XKUNvGVOvO8muJ7APiLwalDwZGdQ5RvHJyackehj8UxyuDHThsg4juMSja5i6gaIhKqniZF2ZrUBPlM5YvpnD6aLDsCqLrXxuznScSQdaY/s1600/gingerbread+037.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Measure out 5 tablespoons of icy cold water into the oil. Do not blend allow the oil to rise to the top.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Finish the decorative touches. This crust needs to bake at 375 degrees. It will seem tough when it first comes out of the oven. Once it cools it will tenderize and be very flaky. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
This is a very good recipe, I also use it for making my gingerbread house.<br />
<br />
Ingredients:<br />
2 sticks of butter<br />
1 cup dark brown sugar<br />
4 teaspoons cinnamon<br />
4 teaspoons ginger<br />
1 1/2 teaspoon grounded cloves<br />
1 teaspoon black pepper<br />
1 1/2 salt<br />
2 eggs<br />
1 cup molasses<br />
6 cups flour<br />
1 1/2 tablespoon baking powder<br />
1/2 teaspoon baking soda<br />
<br />
Cream butter, brown sugar together, add eggs, and molasses beat until fluffy.<br />
<br />
In a separate bowl sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, black pepper, cloves, ginger, and cinnamon. Add the sifted dry ingredients to the creamed ingredients stirring by hand. Do not use your mixer for it will toughen the cookies. Divide the dough in half, cover in plastic wrap, and chill for at least 2 hours.<br />
<br />
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. On a well floured board, roll out each portion of dough to 3/8 inch thickness, keeping the other dough refrigerated until use. Cut with cookie cutters and place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake about 8 minutes. Let cool one minute before removing to wire rack to cool completely. Decorate as desire have fun with it.<br />
