I have found the most excellent quilting teacher, she is humorous, up beat, and relaxed. Angela Walters from the Midnight Quilting Show makes quilting look so easy. This is my first try at anything like this i mostly do applique quilting. I was very pleased with her instructions check her out she's on youtube.
